"Fix" is shot as a faux-documentary in which Bella (Wilde) and Milo (Ruspoli) trek across Los Angeles in a treacherous effort to get Milo's heroin-addicted brother (Shawn Andrews, Pickford of "Dazed and Confused" fame) into rehab before he misses a court-ordered deadline and ends up in the slammer. The idea was based on Wilde's suggestion that they create a film around Ruspoli's charismatic real-life brother."I said, 'Is there one day in his life that you can remember that might make a great movie?' " Wilde explained. "And [Tao] said, 'Yeah, there's one day.' And it was this day that really happened."

Despite the tight filming schedule, Wilde refused to give up the opportunity to work with her husband. "What makes a great relationship is when you really admire and respect the other person and when you can be inspired by them, and if you create something together, those are some of the most magical times in a relationship," she said. "If you can work on anything together, you can really appreciate the gifts the person has to offer."
